Bridal Hair & Makeup Preview | Your Wedding Beauty Consultation
At Angela Wood Beauty & Bridal, we offer two ways to plan your perfect bridal look.
Our recommended option is an in-studio bridal preview, where you'll meet with your artist for a personalized consultation and preview. Preview appointments are approximately 1.5 hours per service (hair or makeup). For brides booking both hair and makeup, our artists often work simultaneously whenever possible to create a seamless experience and minimize the amount of time spent in the chair.
For brides who choose not to book a preview, we carefully plan your look using our comprehensive bridal questionnaire, inspiration photos, and detailed beauty preferences. This ensures your artist arrives fully prepared with a customized plan for your wedding day.
While both options are designed to create a beautiful, seamless experience, we strongly recommend a bridal preview for the most personalized results and complete peace of mind.
Please note: Bridal previews are exclusively available to brides who have officially booked their wedding-day services with us.
What to Expect at Your Bridal Hair & Makeup Preview
A bridal preview is a personalized, one-on-one consultation where we work together to create your perfect wedding-day look. We'll review your inspiration photos, discuss what you love about each style, identify the details you'd like to adjust, and customize every element to complement your features, personal style, and wedding vision. Our goal is for you to leave feeling excited and confident, knowing exactly what to expect on your wedding day.
During your preview, we'll also:

Review your bridal vision and inspiration photos in detail.

Create and refine a customized hair and/or makeup look designed specifically for you.

Discuss whether hair extensions or accessories would enhance your desired hairstyle.

Determine the most flattering details, such as your part placement, face-framing pieces, and overall hairstyle.

Fine-tune your makeup preferences, including coverage, finish, eye definition, lip colour, and overall level of glam, so your look feels authentically you.

Make any adjustments needed to ensure you're completely happy with your final bridal look.
Preview appointments are scheduled for a minimum of 1.5 hours per service to allow ample time for a thorough consultation and application. If you have booked both hair and makeup, our artists often work simultaneously whenever possible, making the experience more efficient while still giving each service the attention it deserves.
