Frequently Asked Questions: Mobile Wedding Makeup & Hair Services in Toronto, Barrie & Central Ontario
Do you have a Minumum?
We have a $800 minimum spend. Once booked, the number of services cannot be changed as the artists time has been gaurenteed, but hair and makeup services can be transferred to another attendee on the same day.
What is your payment policy for reserving dates & how far in advance should I booke?
Due to the surge in weddings post-pandemic, we are quickly booking up for 2025 and 2026. Your date will be secured once your retainer is paid and cleared.To reserve your date for weddings, a non-refundable retainer of 50% is required to legally secure your date. The remaining balance is due 14 calendar days before the wedding. For special occasions or photoshoot bookings, a 25% retainer is needed to secure your appointment.
What products and tools do you use?
We use top-of-the-line, Sephora-grade products, including MAC, Makeup Forever, NARS, bareMinerals, Charlotte Tilbury, and Urban Decay, along with industry-standard tools. Our luxury makeup ensures all-day hold, so you can look and feel your best throughout your special day.
What is extra?
Gratuity, and HST exclusive. Parking Fees (if applicable).
Weddings on holidays may be subject to alternate pricing.
An early morning fee of $100 per artist applies for bookings at or before 6:30 AM. For locations with an unreasonable artist start time in the Gravenhurst area, we may request hotel accommodations to ensure safe travel for our team and maintain professional artistry.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Yes, travel fees at Angela Wood Beauty & Bridal reflect the luxury of having a salon come to you and professional on location set-up. Mobile Studio Fees/Travel are based on distance and the number of artists assigned starting at $35. These fees cover loading and unloading the mobile studio, kit preparation, the artists time on the road, fuel and vehicle upkeep.
Do you offer additional services?
Yes, we partner with other elite industry professionals to provide a range of additional services, including Botox, Hair Extensions, Expert Facials, and teeth whitening. Be sure to ask about our $25 discount for these services!
